Weddings and a Par-tay

On Monday was the happy day in which the tying of knots was done. That’s right, my cousins wedding. How do you plan a wedding in about a month or so? Don’t ask me. I would not be able to tell you. I can however tell you that it was beautiful nonetheless. No pictures.. (cue the tears) except for pictures of my little man being the best sign-bearer ever!!!

Lucas is so smart, that he can take off a bowtie by pulling the sides. We bribed him with wedding cupcakes all day so that he would keep it on.

Look at the guy go! Whilst being quite sick that morning, you go Luka!

I think the sweets wore him out. Along with being sick all week. And the lack of sleep. And the instructions to to not go straight to the groom, but to turn right and walk all the way back to where he came from, drop off the sign, and find his seat. Those seemingly simply instructions are like speaking Mandarin to him. He messed up of course but the guests enjoyed the cuteness.

We left that night while Lucas was feeling better. I on the other hand caught whatever he had and I am getting it’s introduction as we speak. This morning we got back and even was welcomed by a birthday invitation in the mailbox. Luckily we left when we did or else we would not have made it! We threw on pajamas (pajama party how cute) and headed on over!

All of his little friends were there. It was so cute. Little people in tight pajamas has to be the most adorable thing ever.

Lucas was pretty happy to eat ‘real’ food. And by ‘real’ food I mean non-vegan food.

Like I said.. tight pajamas equals a triple cuteness score. Mr. Crobsy would not turn around. Having too much fun banging kitchens with tools apparently.

We even had another party to go to. Oh yes, Mr Sociable has arrived.
I made a collage to try out the whole making a collage thing. You can see how crafty I was with this.

Crobsy and Lulu made straight for the first birthday cupcakes. And..BAM INTERCEPTION BY THE BIRTHDAY DAD. Not his birthday of course, but dad of the birthday twins, and therefore birthday dad. Crobsy was allll laughs. Lucas was indeed disappointed though. I wonder who the mastermind is of these two.

And now as we settle in for the night, Lucas has a temperature again, I have a temperature and nausea, Crobsy has a temperature (small one), Finn has a temperature and coughs, and we can now say, Good night WordPress, please stay healthy because it sucks being young and sick.

Glad at least you got some pictures of the party! Some of us just like to lay back and try not to pass out in the heat. LOL.

Looks and sounds like you had a very busy time! Isn’t it great when kids behave beautifully!??! Any yes, you are right, kids and pyjamas = cuteness.
